INDUSTRY

Industrial manufacturing

There are many risks on the manufacturing floor, all of them made worse by the creep of complacency.

inviol captures events in real time, highlighting risk events so you can coach your team with footage-based feedback. Simple, effective, and proven to help build a safer workplace for your people.

What inviol detects in manufacturing environments

inviol’s detectors are configured to match the specific layout, equipment and risk profile of your manufacturing operation.

Machine exclusion zones

Detects when workers enter restricted areas around active machinery, conveyors or automated equipment. Configurable to your site layout and enforceable consistently across every shift.

Pedestrian-vehicle proximity

Monitors interactions between workers and forklifts or other powered equipment moving through production and storage areas.

PPE compliance

Spots missing hard hats, high-vis vests and other required PPE in defined zones, logged with video clips for coaching follow-up.

Manual handling

Flags unsafe lifting practices and ergonomic risk events for review, helping identify patterns before they lead to musculoskeletal injuries.

Vehicle speed

Tracks forklift and vehicle speeds across defined areas of the facility, flagging when thresholds are exceeded in zones shared with pedestrians.

Safety in industrial manufacturing

Manufacturing floors are environments where repetition, familiarity and production pressure can gradually erode safe practices. Workers perform the same tasks hundreds of times a day alongside moving plant, conveyors, forklifts and heavy equipment. When a task feels routine, shortcuts creep in – a skipped PPE check, a quicker route through a restricted zone, a lift done without proper technique because it’s faster.

These are the behaviours that sit at the base of Henrich’s safety triangle: frequent, low-severity events that rarely get reported but steadily build the conditions for a more serious incident. Most manufacturing operations already invest in training, signage and supervision to manage these risks. The challenge is that complacency is difficult to observe consistently, especially across large facilities, multiple shifts and areas where supervisors can’t always be present. inviol adds a layer of continuous oversight that catches small behavioural patterns as they develop, giving your safety team the evidence they need to coach early and reinforce the standards your operation depends on.
