Why choose inviol

SOC 2 Type II-led, ISO 27001-aligned, GDPR-ready, with regional data residency options.

Independent penetration testing and external audits are performed on a recurring basis.

Process on-site, not in the cloud. Camera feeds don’t need to be shipped to the cloud.

Privacy blurring helps protect identities while keeping events usable for coaching.
How inviol protects your data and your people
Security and privacy aren’t bolt-on features for inviol. They’re embedded in the architecture. When organisations evaluate AI safety platforms, questions about where data is stored, who can access it and how worker identities are protected come up early and often. They should.
inviol provides small hardware units that sit alongside your existing cameras and processes footage locally, on your premises. The hardware’s computer vision AI analyses video feeds in real-time on-site, meaning your raw CCTV footage never needs to be streamed to the cloud. Only event details and short video clips leave your premises when a safety event is detected. In practice, this means 99% of your data stays on-site.
inviol holds SOC 2 Type II certification, aligns with ISO 27001 controls and meets GDPR requirements. Independent penetration testing is also conducted regularly to validate the platform’s security posture. For the small amount of data that does leave your site, inviol offers regional data residency options so you can keep your cloud-hosted data in the geography that meets your compliance requirements. Full details, documentation and current certifications are available at the inviol trust center.

Privacy by design, not by afterthought
One of the most common concerns about AI-powered safety monitoring is worker privacy. It’s a valid question, and one that inviol addresses at every level of the platform. From how footage is processed through to what data is stored and who can access it.
On-site processing
Raw CCTV footage is processed locally on your premises by inviol’s AI hardware unit. 99% of your data never leaves your site.
No facial recognition
inviol doesn’t use facial recognition technology. The platform does not store, match or analyse biometric data.
Behaviour, not identity
inviol monitors for unsafe events like near-misses, PPE gaps and exclusion zone breaches. It doesn’t identify workers, track movements through a facility or build profiles of specific people.
Automatic face blurring
All captured footage is processed with automatic blurring, so coaching conversations focus on the behaviour and the situation rather than identifying who was involved.

Getting your team and union on board
Introducing AI monitoring into a workplace almost always involves conversations with workers, health and safety representatives, and (where applicable) unions. The privacy-first design of the platform helps these conversations significantly. When you can demonstrate that the footage is blurred, that the system doesn’t identify individuals, that processing happens on-site rather than in the cloud, and that the purpose is coaching rather than surveillance, the conversation shifts from resistance to engagement.
Every site is different, and the inviol team is available to help guide you through your specific privacy, legal and IT security requirements. inviol is trusted by leading enterprises and unions across industries from retail to aviation.
What inviol can detect in your warehouse
Every warehouse has its own layout, policies and pressure points. inviol's computer vision AI adapts to your environment and detects the specific risks that matter most on your site. Common detection scenarios include:
Pedestrian-forklift proximity
The most dangerous moments in any warehouse happen when people and machines share space. inviol monitors pedestrian-forklift interactions in real time, flagging near-misses and close calls before they escalate. This is the single biggest source of serious warehouse injuries (and one that traditional reporting almost always misses).
Exclusion zone breaches
Whether it's a charging bay, a high-traffic loading lane or an area with overhead crane activity, inviol detects when someone enters a zone they shouldn't be in and logs the event with video evidence for follow-up coaching.
PPE compliance
Hard hats, high-vis vests, safety footwear. inviol detects missing PPE in defined areas and captures the moment on video (with blurred faces), so coaching conversations are grounded in real situations, rather than assumptions.
Loading and unloading zone activity
Dock areas are consistently high-risk zones due to the mix of reversing vehicles, pedestrians, uneven surfaces and time pressure. inviol monitors these areas continuously and flags unsafe interactions that supervisors would otherwise never see.
Speeding and unsafe vehicle behaviour
A forklift travelling too fast through a blind corner or intersection is one of those risks everyone knows about but nobody sees consistently. inviol tracks vehicle speed across defined zones, giving you data on where and when speeding actually happens (not just where you think it happens).
Manual handling and ergonomic risk
Repeated unsafe lifting practices contribute to musculoskeletal injuries, which remain one of the most common and costly warehouse injury types. inviol can flag manual handling events for review, helping identify patterns before they become chronic issues.
