No, in 99% of cases you can keep your existing CCTV (surveillance cameras). inviol connects via RTSP feeds and works with the vast majority of camera and recorder (NVR/DVR) setups.

We also provide our own small AI hardware unit for free. It sits alongside your recorder, runs the computer vision AI on-site, and only sends the minimum needed off-site (like event details and short clips). Setup is simple, and your footage stays secure.

We're compatible with most major camera and NVR brands including, but not limited to, Hikvision, Dahua, Axis Communications, Hanwha (Wisenet), Uniview, Bosch, Avigilon, Honeywell, Pelco, Verkada, Swann, Lorex, and Gallagher, as well as VMS platforms like Milestone XProtect and Genetec Security Center.
